I have a nasty cold and so we stayed home from church today and this is how we spent our time. The kids thought I was really cool but I had no idea what I was doing. These little creations just happend. It was a fun way to spend out time together.

It's been a while since I have updated my blog I know but here I go. We have been busy with life and the holidays and school. Boyd is in 4th grade, Dallin is in 2nd, Corey is in kindergarten and Rylee has been my little buddy while the boys are in school. Corey is getting ready to celebrate his 6th birthday, which I can't believe. Boyd, Dallin and Rylee will celebrate their birthdays during the summer time. Boyd will be turning 10, Dallin 8, and Rylee 3.

As for Alex and I, well, we are just feeling old but doing great. We still can't figure out how time has flown by so fast since high school and how our 4 children have grown up so fast. It feels like time is passing by faster.

That's all for now, I will try to keep up with my family and our blog.

I have been wanting to do this for a long time and finally made the move. Yes Rylee cried, but she got over it VERY fast. I am sure there are those of you out there who think I am mean or what ever but oh well, she is loved and well taken care of.

So Boyd and Dallin go back to school on the 24th of Aug. and Corey gets to go to school for the first time. Thank Heavens! I need a break from that little stinker. He starts on Sept. 9th. That will leave Rylee and I at home alone! Can you hear my shouts of joy? The kids are still out of school so it is easy for me to feel this way right now. I am so happy to finally be able to spend some time with just my little girl. How many days do I have until they start school? I know SOME day I will miss the day when they are running around the house screaming, fighting, and making messes, but right now I just look forward to school starting.

We have been so busy the last couple of months so here are some pics of what has been going on.

The boys played some baseball. They all seemed to have a lot of fun.

Dallin in the orange shirt. This was his kindergarten program. He made it through and is now off to 1st grade. Good luck 1st grade teacher.

Corey's eardrums perforated again. Both eardrums this time. I took him to the ENT and she agreed with me that it is time to get tubes in again and take out the adenoids. My poor baby. He goes in tomorrow for surgery. I will feel much better, and so will he, when it is all over and we can take him home.

We were there for about 2 hours and some. That was just the right amount of time. All the kids were ready for cake and the drive home. We had a great day. Thanks for being in our family Corey. We love you so much buddy. Happy 4th Birthday.

8 months old!

Our little Rylee is growing up so fast. She weighs over 19 pounds and eats alot. She gets really upset when she eats all of her food. Rylee still does not crawl but she can roll over and get back to sitting position from her tummy. She just started that today. She is working on the whole crawling thing but just can't seem to get the hang of it. I am actually okay with this. One less child to keep out of my things, but not for long. I love Rylee so much. She adds a bit of sweetness to our family. The boys can't seem to get enough of her. Just hanging out in her carseat!

It never fails! You put Kenadee and Corey in the same room, they will be fighting in a matter of minutes. Yet they get excited to see one another. Go figure. I just couldn't resist taking some pictures of these two. I got to watch Kenadee for 15-20 minutes the other day. I got my camera ready. I didn't encourage this, I just knew it was going to happen. So here is the love they share for one another. Usually there is some hitting and pushing going on, but these will have to do.

This is what happens when Corey and Kenadee play together. Someone wants something and they want it now, someone has to tease someone, and then they begin to hit and push until someone starts to cry.

They end up in time out! This time just happened to be Kendaee's turn. Sorry Ken.

Then they hug and make up.

But this sweet moment only lasts for about......... a moment. what can you do?

Just before Christmas I walked into "The Village Christmas Shoppe". My two older sons were at school, leaving me with my two little ones, Corey (who is a BOY) and Rylee ( who is a girl). For those of you who don't know, "The Village Christmas Shoppe" has lots of breakables including dept. 56. You know the expensive little figures and villages. I know! The fact that there are breakables in the store should have made me think twice, but I didn't. Oh, and I forgot to mention, I carried Rylee into the store in her car seat while Corey walked. I didn't have my stroller with me. I know, I know! Another big clue to stay out of the store, but I didn't. So in I go, and in goes Corey, my BOY! What was I thinking? I don't know if all boys are the same, but my three boys are, and by the third boy I should know better than to bring one of my boys into a store such as this one. But I did and now I own this! A broken dept.56 figure. I am happy to say that I didn't get mad at him. I just sighed as he gave me his cute little smile. That smile reminded me that he didn't even know what he had done. He loves cars and when he saw this car he just had to play with it. He was trying to show me the "cool car", as he called it, when it slipped out of his hand and hit the ground. So from now on, I go alone! Which means almost NEVER, because when am I ever alone. Oh, umm, NEVER! P.S. I am not bitter! Just a mom living a CRAZY life. Which in some crazy way I love.

So Ry loves to sit up while she takes her bath. I just love her rolls. When she was born she was so stinkin small and now she has these cute chunky legs, bummy, arms, tummy, neck and back. This is the only time chunky is cute. This piture makes me want to go and kiss her, but she is asleep right now so I won't go and kiss her.

My poor baby with an ear infection and a nasty cold, that she got from her brothers. Thank you brothers.

The princess on her king size bed. Not really, she has a crib. She is loved but not spoiled. Well, maybe a little, but only for now.

I finally got a picture of her smiling. She does this kind of smile each morning we go in and get her out of bed. She sure loves attention. In this picture she is trying to sit up by using her elbows. She is really a mover. I hope she isnt an early walker. We will see. I just love her, and my boys too.

Its only 10 am!

So its only 10 in the morning and I already have a headache! My kids tried to play the stupid xbox before school, which is a no, no in our house, then they tried to eat crackers for breakfast and got mad when I told them no. All 3 boys would not leave Rylee alone so she was crying. None of the boys were dressed and we only had about 20 minutes before we had to leave for school. Then as we were going out the door Dallin had a break down because the gloves (that he used last winter) were all of a sudden to big. My neighbor has heard me yell at least 2 times by now, so she probably thinks I am a horrible mom. (She has 2 boys and I never hear her yelling! Maybe she will trade a boy or 2 with me?) So we actually make it to school on time, by some small miracle! So I am back at the car and I put Rylee in first and then move the stroller to the back of the car (where it cannot be seen from the driver seat) take Corey out and put him in his seat. THEN, no I did not back up, I just drove away and left my stroller there. Somehow from the time I took Corey out of the stroller and put him in his seat I forgot all about the stroller. Maybe it is a really good thing I took Rylee out first or she probably would have been sitting there watching me drive away. So I get home and take the kids out of the car, still have no idea that I left the stroller back at school, and my friend drives up and tells me she has a Christmas present for me. She goes to the back of her car and takes out a stroller that looks just like mine and I say to her, "hey we have the same exact stroller." What a DORK I am. She looks at me and starts to laugh. Then tells me that she watched me drive away from the school with my poor stroller sitting there all alone! Then I start to laugh when I realized what I did. Again, it isn't even noon yet and I feel like it is the end of the day because I already have a headache. Usually I don't get a headache until the end of the day. Wow! I would love to go back to bed. The bright side is that I still have a stroller, that I did not back up over, and a friend (Mele) who takes care of me! What would we do without friends and family?

I was waiting in the car for Boyd and Dallin to get out of school today. While the three of us (Rylee, asleep in the back, Corey and myself) sat in the car I started to think about how fast time has flown by. It seems just like yesterday that Alex and I got married then moved to Sun City, CA and then had Boyd. I hate to admit it but, I cannot remember much of Dallin as a baby. I remember having him of course but in the middle of moving to Utah some how I forgot so much. Not to mention I was pregnant with Corey while in the middle of our move to Utah. The move to Utah is a story in itself, one I care not to relive, EVER! Anyway, with all these thoughts in my head I decided to pull the camera out and take some shots of Corey before I started to forget all of the memories of him growing up. So here is my little camera shy monster. Enjoy!!!

Twilight, Girls Night Out!!!

Rylee's first real girls night out. She was a perfect angel while we watched our long awaited Twilight! I loved the movie and it was all I had hoped for. I loved all the characters. For all those that did not like it, well that is their loss! I want to read the books over again. Alex says, "oh great". He is glad that I have something that I really like though. Waiting for the movie to start!!

I took Rylee for her 4 month check up. She was all smiles until she got her shots. She weighs 14 pounds 10 ounces. What a little chunker. Look at those legs! She is the first of our 4 kids to run a fever from shots. She was grumpy for 2 days. She didn't sleep well and you know what that meant for me. She seems to be over her bad mood from the shots. Until the next time. Yeah me!

Well, its that time of year again and I have to admit it is not my favorite time of the year. All though the kids just think it is great so that does help make it more exciting. It wouldnt be so bad if it just didnt last so long. It could be worse so I will enjoy it. The car had to be wipped off twice before I took the kids to school. What fun! The boys were so excited to put on some of their snow clothes to wear to school.

I think winter is for the kids and maybe for some you big kids out there.

Corey thinks it is great to throw snow at people, that is until they throw it back!

I have to say I think this was the best Halloween ever, but we did miss all the other family that was not with us. We spent the evening at Britt and Dave's house and ate yummy food and then went tricker treating. There was a clown and some other kid dressed up that kept on following us around. Our kids (and Maile ha,ha) were chasing them around. I guess you had to be there. But is was really funny. The boys are proud of their pumpkins.

Fall has been great this year. We have had some cold days but mostly perfect days. The boys want to play outside as much as possible. I cant blame them, winter is on its way. They have had so much fun playing in the leaves. I just had to get some memories!

Rylee spent most of her day keeping mommy busy! She just pooped herself out. Its a rough life! Rylee just started laughing today! Just when you think you couldn't love your baby any more than you already do they go and do something cute and you fall in love with them even more.

Rylee loves to talk to us. She wants your full undivided attention! (GIRLS!) We like to know that when we talk someone is listening to us! Am I right?

I can remember Sarah and Ryan announcing that they were going to have their first baby (Darby). It is hard to believe that today, 8 years later, she was baptized. All the grandchildren look up to Darby. She has been and is a great example to all. We love you Darby and thank you for the wonderful example! Boyd you are next!!!

This was a great day for me! This was the first day of a silent house. With only Rylee and Corey home I have a lot of time to read, clean, go to the grocery store (with only 2 kids) and this goes on every day Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3:45 pm. Its a good life. I use to hate school when I was in it, but now I love it. Imagine that.
